Essay On my Favourite Book for Class 10, Class 12 (2nd Year, FSC) and Graduation – My Favourite Book Essay

“A home without books is a body without the soul. ” (Marcus Tullius Cicero)

Books are the friends of human beings as they provide excellent information. They enhance our knowledge and broaden our vision. They console us when we are worried. They guide us how to lead a fantastic life. They persuade us how to handle different situations. They help us develop the habit of contemplation and meditation on various issues. They provide strength to individuals in all the phases of life. They expose various hidden truths. They increase the man’s thirst for exploring new things. it is rightly said that

“The greater our knowledge increases, The greater our ignorance unfolds.”

But one should be very much careful in the selection of books. As good books are extremely fruitful, some bad books can be very dangerous. People do have different likes and dislike in regard of books. Same is the case with me. I like to read books which are based on facts and figures. l know that only the good books benefit an individual with the awareness of the entire world related to the discoveries and inventions, which are being made throughout the world.

I regard books as my companion. I love reading all kinds of good books, but my favourite book Is the Holy Quran. The Holy Quran is basically a religious book of Muslims. It was revealed to the last prophet of Allah, Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). The arch-angel Gabriel brought this scripture in the 7th century A.D. in instalments. It is in Arabic. It has 30 sections, 114 chapters and 6,666 verses. It is the only infallible book of the world.

“This is the book about which there is no doubt, guidance for those conscious of Allah.” (Al-Quran 2-2)

The Holy Quran is a complete code of life. One can find a solution to every problem. It not only deals with the worldly affairs but also with matters of the world hereafter. It gives us complete guidance. There are clear injunctions about our life in the Holy Quran. Every aspect of our life has been discussed in detail in it. It helps us lead a noble, honest, humble and fair life and makes us live a more harmonious life with our fellow beings. It is the matchless treasure and it contains the solution to every problem.

Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: “The Holy Quran is a wealth that no wealth can equal (or reach) it. And there will be no poverty after it.”

The Holy Quran is not only for an individual or nation but also for the whole universe. It is for everyone. It can bring revolution in man’s life. It tells us how to serve and worship Allah. It tells us how to live a life of virtue. It tells us how to behave in our homes, how to treat our parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends, neighbours and strangers.

I daily recite the Holy Quran. It soothes my heart and purifies my thoughts. It enables me to ponder over different things and revise my life altogether. It motivates me to give up all the bad deeds and encourages me to do something beneficial for the whole humanity. May Allah help all of us to be regular in reciting the Holy Quran so that we can lead a fantastic, sacred and pious life! Aameen.

My Favourite Book Essay

My Favorite Book Essay the Holy Quran with Quotes

My favorite book essay.

Studying books is a hobby that is an essential part of the life of every scholar, but the number of different books is so much that even the age of Noah (peace be upon him) is not enough to study them. So, it is inevitable that one has to choose books  according to choice and taste.

Just as one must be careful in choosing friends, in the same way one needs to be very careful in choosing books. Now, every person’s choice and taste is different, so while choosing a book, firstly we should consider our choice and secondly, we should see how useful that book is. Choosing the right book can make your life better and choosing the wrong book can ruin your life.

A wise man has said:

Allama Iqbal has also given a similar idea during one of his lectures. He says:

“Such a book comes into existence after centuries, every single word of which is worth reading carefully.” Allama Iqbal

The Holy Quran is one such universal and eternal book. It is beyond the boundaries of space and time. This is my favorite book. In the following lines I shall explain the reasons for my choice and the themes of this book. On this occasion, it seems appropriate that I begin my discussion in the light of the sayings of Allama Iqbal.

Allama Iqbal has exhorted the Muslim Ummah that if Muslims want to be seen with honor and respect in the world, then they should seek guidance from the Qur’an, in every area of life and make their role according to it.

The subject of the Holy Qur’an is man. The Holy Quran is the source of growth and guidance for mankind. This is a book of knowledge and wisdom. In it, the guiding principles for the improvement and welfare of every kind of individual and every kind of nation and trade have been described.

By following them, the Arab nation, which was unfamiliar with civilization before the revelation of the Qur’an, became endowed with the highest and noblest morals of humanity, and by ending the empire of Qaesar and Kasra, it built the best Islamic society and the greatest Islamic state.

The books that were revealed before the Qur’an were the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel for a particular nation or country, but since the Holy Qur’an is the last heavenly book, it is a complete guidance for the entire world of humanity, whose teachings are applicable in every era and every country.

The teachings of this book are natural, so the man of every age feels as if it was revealed for that age. This is because it is the word of the Creator and He knows the needs, requirements and psychology of His creatures best.

It is recognized that all the heavenly books mentioned above were revealed before the Holy Qur’an, their worship has decreased to some extent with the passage of time, but compared to them, The Holy Qur’an is a book which, despite the passage of more than one and a half thousand years, still exists today in the same form as it was revealed to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

Not a single word, not even a single letter of it has changed and we can say with full confidence and satisfaction that it is the word of pure Allah because Allah has taken the responsibility of protecting it.

So it is said:

The Holy Quran is a literary masterpiece in terms of eloquence. It has the glory of the mountains, the churning of the seas, the flow of the rivers, the luster of lightning and the ministration of jewels.

The Arabs were very proud of their speech and poetry and they considered other countries inferior in comparison to them and called them as “Ajam”, meaning dumb, but when the Holy Quran was revealed, everyone was amazed by its immense eloquence and eloquence. Tongues became dumb and no great scholar, orator or poet could deliver a speech like it.

When the Qur’an challenged them to produce only one Surah like it, all the Arabs sat with their heads together, but they did not succeed, and they admitted that this word is without a doubt divine, and no one has answered this challenge to this day. After all, how is this even possible?

The Quran is the word of the creator of the universe. Obviously, how can a creature compete with its creator? It is narrated that when Surah Al-Kawsar was revealed, it was written and displayed on the wall of the Kaaba. When one of the great Arab poets, Labid saw it, lost in the river of wonder and wrote there on the wall: This cannot be the words of any human being.

The books that were revealed before the Holy Qur’an either contained only moral teachings or only a collection of prayers and supplications or jurisprudential issues or only beliefs or historical events were described in them. The Holy Qur’an is such a comprehensive book that contains every human aspect. has been highlighted. It also contains moral teachings and a description of beliefs and actions, and important events in human history are also mentioned.

The Holy Qur’an gave humanity its rightful place. The Quran taught mankind the message of peace and security and freedom and equality. This erased the difference between black and white, Arabs and foreigners, and abolished the distinctions established in the society on the basis of lineage, and placed the foundation of nobility and greatness only on piety and fear of God.

My Favourite Book (Holy Quran) Essay in English

My Favourite Book (Holy Quran) Essay

My Favourite Book (Holy Quran) Essay

I have read many books. But the book I like most is the Holy Quran. It means the most widely read books. Its author is not a human being. Allah is the author. It was revealed by God to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) through the Angel Gibril.

It has 30 parts. The companions of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) collected, The parts on which verses were written and gave them the shape of the book i.e.Quran afterward, which tells us how to live in the world. I daily recite it. I feel as if I am talking with God.

Every aspect of life is discussed. It is a great source of satisfaction. It is a complete history, a unique philosophy, a towering either and a perfect religion. It is written in Arabic. Its language is nice impressive and very forceful.

I have not seen any book that can teach a man so many subjects as Quran does. It is an everlasting book. It can meet all the challenges all the time. It is only for the betterment of human beings. It is the last message of God.

If somebody acts upon reaching he can succeed in the world and the world hereafter. May God bless us with it. There are lacs of its reciter who has memorized it fully.

I have firm believe in the teaching of Quran and every Muslim has firm believe because it reveals us the hidden mystery of two worlds. It not only teaches us about all aspects of worldly affairs but also guides about right and wrong affairs of the world hereafter.

The Holy Quran is written in the Arabic Language. But for our satisfaction and in order to learn the teachings of Allah and Muhammad the Holy Quran is translated into the Urdu language. It is comprised of thirty Paras. There are total one hundred and fourteen Surahs of which 85 Surahs are Makki whereas rest of the Surahs is Madani. There are 6666 are Sajad and Ayaats. The major fact of this book it that the teaching of this Holy Book is not only for individuals or any nation or state but it is for the whole universe. We should all try to read the Holy Quran daily in order to seek refuge and forgiveness of Allah.

Holy Quran Essay

There is an English essay on “My Favorite Book, the Holy Quran” for college students. English essay notes for the advanced second year and tenth-grade students are here. The Quran is the holy book of Muslims. The word “Qur’an” means “reading”.

The Quran is the holy book of Muslims. This is my favorite book. The word “Qur’an” means “reading”. It is a book not written by a man. It was sent by Allah Almighty through our last Prophet (SAW) for the guidance of man. Gabriel was accustomed to carrying God’s message. It is the most widely read book in the world.

The Quran is divided into 30 ‘Paras ‘ and 114 ‘Suras’. Each surah has a different number of verses. Of the 114 Surahs, 92 were revealed in Makkah and 22 in Madinah. The Holy Qur’an consists of 6,616 verses, 77,934 words, and 3, 23,760 letters of Arabic. The first chapter of the book is viewed with special devotion by Muslims. It is called ‘Surah Surah Fatih’. There are seven verses in it. We recite it in our prayers.

The Qur’an provides a complete code of life. It discusses every aspect of life in detail. It tells us what is right and what is wrong. It teaches us the truth, non-violence, love, meditation, compassion, and so on. This holy book is a kind of history. It contains the stories of ancient nations.

The Qur’an is written in Arabic, which is a very powerful language. Her style is very impressive and charming. It is so perfect and lofty that neither men nor jinn can compose verse like it. The book was not only sent to the Arabs, but to the whole world without distinction of color, creed, or caste. The book is our best guide. It is full of wisdom, truth, facts, philosophy, beauty, grace, and love. This book covers all aspects of life and provides guidance on all topics. It is a heavenly holy book for man’s spiritual, social, and personal guidance.

The Quran is an eternal book. God has declared in the Bible that he is responsible for its protection. That is why no one has yet succeeded in altering even the smallest verse of the book. It was compiled during the caliphate of Hazrat Uthman who was interested in its compilation. “Arbab” and other signs were placed on the Holy Book by two disciples of Hazrat Ali (RA) under his guidance. Many Muslims learn this remarkable book by heart. They are called memorizers of the Qur’an. This is the miracle of this book.

Essay on My Favourite Book: The Holy Quran

The Holy Quran holds a special place in my heart as my favourite book. It is not just a collection of words, but a divine scripture that provides guidance, wisdom, and solace to millions of people around the world. Written in Arabic, the Quran is believed by Muslims to be the literal word of God as revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The Quran encompasses a vast range of topics, addressing matters of faith, morality, spirituality, social issues, and practical guidance for daily life. It serves as a comprehensive guidebook for Muslims, offering profound insights into the nature of existence, the purpose of life, and the principles of righteousness.

One of the reasons why the Quran is my favourite book is its timeless relevance. Despite being revealed over fourteen centuries ago, its teachings remain applicable in the modern world. The Quran’s universal principles promote justice, compassion, equality, and respect for all individuals, regardless of their background or beliefs. Its messages of peace, tolerance, and empathy provide a moral compass to navigate the complexities of our contemporary society.

Moreover, the Quran’s literary beauty and eloquence are awe-inspiring. The rhythmic flow of its verses and the depth of its language make it a truly remarkable piece of literature. It contains poetic verses that evoke a sense of wonder, provoke introspection, and inspire spiritual contemplation. The power and beauty of its language make the recitation of the Quran a deeply moving and transformative experience.

Another aspect that makes the Quran special to me is its emphasis on seeking knowledge. The Quran repeatedly encourages believers to reflect, ponder, and inquire about the world around them. It promotes a rational approach to understanding the signs of God’s creation and encourages individuals to seek knowledge from diverse sources. This aspect resonates with me as a lifelong learner, and it reinforces my belief in the importance of intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.

The Quran also offers a sense of comfort and solace during challenging times. Its verses provide reassurance, reminding believers of God’s mercy, love, and support. The Quran is seen as a source of healing, guidance, and spiritual nourishment for those seeking solace and peace in times of hardship or distress. Its teachings instil hope and resilience, reminding us that every trial is an opportunity for growth and spiritual elevation.

Finally, the Quran’s memorization and recitation hold great significance in Muslim culture. The practice of committing the Quran to memory, known as Hifz, is highly regarded. Many Muslims, including myself, have memorized portions or the entire Quran. The process of memorization instils discipline, focus, and a deep connection with the divine text. Reciting the Quran in prayers or as a personal devotion is a source of tranquillity and spiritual fulfilment.

In conclusion, the Holy Quran is my favourite book for numerous reasons. Its timeless relevance, literary beauty, emphasis on knowledge, and solace during challenging times make it a source of inspiration and guidance. The Quran’s profound teachings and universal values resonate with me, reminding me of the importance of compassion, justice, and spiritual growth. It is a book that holds immeasurable wisdom and serves as a source of spiritual nourishment for millions of people worldwide.

My favorite book holy quran essay & article, created by editorial board, the holy quran is the main source of guidance :.

The Holy Quran is a main source of guidance for not only Muslims but all the human beings. This is the last book of ALLAH.This was descended  upon Hazart Muhammad (SAW).There are ‘6666’ verses in it.It has ‘114’ chapters. This devine book has been divided into 30 parts which are called ‘Paraas’.It was descended gradually in about ’22’ years and ‘5’ months.

Holy Quran

“Sura Fatiha”  Is The Preamble Of The Holy Quran :

“Sura Fatiha” is the preamble of the Holy Quran. This is the recited ‘Surah (Chapter) of the Holy Quran. In every ‘Raka’of ‘Namaz’,Surah Fatiha is recited.”Sura Baqra” is the largest Surat of the Holy Quran. It has ‘286’ verses.”Surah Kausar” is the smallest surah of the Holy Quran. It has ‘3’ verses. There are more than ’73’ thousand words in the Holy Quran.

The Subject Of The Holy Quran Is Human Being :

The subject of the Holy Quran is human being. This is away of salvation for humanity. This shows us the right path.It has many incidents of ancient nations. These incidents have been described to show us the right path. The names and the incidents of many Prophets have been mentioned in it. Hazart Musa’s(A.S) name and incidents are mentioned in 29 ‘Paraas’ out of 30.

The Holy Quran is a miraculous book which can be learnt by heart.Furthermore,ALLAH has taken the responsibility to secure the text of the book.ALLAH has not taken such responsibility about other devine books. There are millions of ‘Huffaz’of the Holy Quran, all over the Muslim world.

The language of the Holy Quran is Arabic.ALLAH has made it easy to understand for the people who want to make it their source of guidance. In the early era of Islam,Muslims follows the teaching of Islam in letter and spirit. They applied its teaching in all walks of their lives without exception. That is why, they ruled the world. But today we recite daily repeatedly but do not apply its teaching in our practical lives.Rather we go on our own way.Today there are more than ‘1500’million Muslims around the globe. They have more than ’57’independent countries. But they do not have any important role in world’s politics and economy. This is all because, they have given up the teachings of the Holy Quran. .

The Holy Quran Is The Last Message Of ALLAH :

By summing up the discussion,we can say that the Holy Quran is the last message of ALLAH.This is a miraculous book. But this not just to recite. This is to act upon. But, today,we recite it only for the ‘sawab’ of the dead.Someone has said,”ALLAH had made this book of livings but today we(the Muslims) have made it the book of the dead”.

500 Words Essay on My Favourite Book Quran For Class 5

my favourite book holy quran essay for class 4

Books are undoubtedly one of the best friends. They are the source of energetic thought. They bring out of the world feeling in us.

Of all the books I have read, I like the Quran the most. It is a holy book of Muslims, but it is a guide for the whole of humanity. Muslim means the person who believes in the final revelation i.e. Quran of ALLAH S.W.T. (SUBHAN-WA-TALA) and believes in the final messenger Prophet Mohammad Sallalaho Wa Alehi Wasallam. We add Sallalaho Wa Alehi Wasallam whenever we Muslim name our beloved prophet because Allah SWT has commanded in Quran (INNALLAHA WA MALAIKATAHU YUSALLOUNA ALANNABI, YA AIYOHALLIJANA AAMANU WA SALLIMU TASLIMA) to send DOROOD on our prophet. Sallalaho Wa Alehi Wasallam is a very short form of DAROOD.

Inside Fact:

It is the most readable book of the world at all time. It is the only book which is completely memorized by millions of Muslim person called (Hafiz).

Quran with scenery

The book manifests the five main pillars of following Islam; which is Tauheed, Namaj, Roja, Jakat, Haj. It is the book that is revealed via the most important Angel (Gibreel Alehisslam) through the mouth of Prophet Mohammad Sallalaho Wa Alehi Wasallam. It tells that Almighty have sent many prophets; one lakh twenty four thousands approximately. Out of them first prophet was Adam Alehi Assalam and the last one was Prophet Mohammad. It also confirms that no more messenger will come on the earth again. It also tells that Isha alehi Assalam (Peace Be Upon Him) was raised live from this world by almighty Allah SWT.

One of the most Valuable Teaching:

Out of numerous teachings. I noticed one teaching most valuable. Which is here. It says the most powerful thing on this earth is: Give others with the left hand so that right hand couldn't know it. That means helping others without telling anybody is very tough. it is a more powerful thing than the power of water, fire, and wind.

Fact of Afterlife:

It advocates for the ever and endless life after death. This life is as short compared to life after death that it can be compared with the blinking of the eye. There is not a single stone unturned in Quran about the guidelines of life. That means it is a complete manual. You can raise any question in your mind and try to find its answer in Quran, I am sure you will find it certainly. If anyone is not able to find it, approach the experts of the Quran in Masjid. It is a complete manual for whole humanity in regards to justice, honesty, truthfulness, piety, equality, freedom, devotion, etc. I apologize to Allah for any mistake in this essay.

A Short Note:

This is a short piece of information about the Quran. In another article, I will prepare a list of the most important queries arising in human beings. More point will be added in this article.

Please comments and give your feedback, whether I have explained it correctly. If it needs any improvement then write below.

Short Paragraph on My Favourite Book “Quran” (358 Words)

my favourite book holy quran essay for class 4

Here is your short paragraph on my favourite book “Quran” !

I love reading, and books are my best friends. I love reading all kinds of books, but my favourite of the entire book that I have read so far is the Holy Quran.

The Quran is the holy book of Islam, just like The Bible for Christians and The Bhagavadgita for Hindus.

The Quran is explained in very simple language and is basically understood as the simple code of life. A complete guidance on living a life full of peace, harmony and love. It is believed to be the last religious books released by Allah.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

In Quran, every single aspect of life is discussed and it helps the reader to deal with worldly affair now and later in the most effective manner. The Quran consist of short stories which makes it interesting to read, and which has got high moral values. This makes it very interesting and one could keep reading the Quran over and over again.

The Holy Quran is written in Arabic and consists of 30 paras, 114 suraas, 6666 sajads and ayaat. The pattern is specified by HOLY Prophet Muhammad. Islam basically means “obedience to Allah”. It gives us solutions to our day to day problems and also explains very clearly to the reader about the social and moral duties one should follow. The first Surah of Quran is surah Fathia which is a prayer that guides through the right and wring paths.

By reading the Holy Quran, one would definitely understand Islam and what Allah is trying to convey to us. It would help us lead a noble, honest, humble and fair life and would make us live a more harmonious life with fellow mankind.

When one follows these rules as said in the Quran, it would not only make one happy but also Allah happy, for being living in his guidance and path and carrying forward the goodness of Allah, and Islam, to the coming generations. The Quran is a very interesting book to read and I love reading the Quran over and over again. This has become one among my favourite books.
