Menggambar mengandungi komposisi artistik yang dihasilkan melalui aplikasi warna di atas permukaan rata. Ilustrasi yang digunakan adalah untuk menerangkan sesuatu objek dengan lebih jelas. Menggambar juga boleh dikenali sebagai representasi visual yang dihasilkan dalam bentuk 2 dimensi. Selain itu, bidang menggambar menegaskan perkembangan persepsi dan kemahiran serta bertujuan untuk memperhatikan sejauh manakah kemampuan seseorang itu terhadap aktiviti melukis atau membuat gambar dengan menggunakan pelbagai media dan teknik atau kemahiran bidang kesenian. Bidang ini menekankan perkembangan imaginasi, kreativiti dan ekspresi diri. Berdasarkan kehendak soalan, penghasilan karya adalah berdasarkan kebudayaan tempatan. Sehubungan dengan itu, saya telah memilih budaya muzik negeri sabah iaitu sompoton kaum Dusun dan juga budaya simbolik kaum Rungus sabah. Sumber ilham adalah penting sebagai rujukan untuk seseorang pelukis. 3 Pengenalan Corak dan Rekaan Coral ialah susunan motif sama ada secara teratur, terancang atau secara bebas. Corak terdiri daripada dua jenis iaitu corak terancang dan corak tidak terancang. Corak juga bleh terbentuk daripada bukan motif secara bebas atau corak tidak terancang. Lain pada itu, motif ialah sama ada rupa atau bentuk asas dalam satu-satu rekaan atau gubahan. Maka Secara umumnya bidang membuat corak dan rekaan merupakan satu bidang yang memberi peluang kepada pelajar untuk memahami pelbagai cara untuk menghasilkan corak dan mengaplikasikannya pada reka bentuk lain. 4 Pemilihan Tema: Kebudayaan Tempatan 5 Lakaran Sumber Ilham Saya memilih tema alat muzik tradisional Kadazandusun kerana saya amat tertarik dengan kepelbagaian dan keunikan alat muzik tradisional bagi kaum Dusun. Kebanyakan alat-alat muzik tradisional di sabah dibuat daripada bahan-bahan asli. Contohnya tongkungan, turali, suling, sompoton dan sebagainya. Pada zaman dahulu, alat muzik tradisional Kadazan Dusun dimainkan sewaktu majlis perkhawinan, keramaian dan juga mengiring tarian sumazau. 6 Lakaran Sumber Ilham Seterusnya, saya juga memilih budaya kaum Rungus Sabah sebagai tema dan unsur dalam tugasan saya. Kaum Rungus telah diiktiraf sebagai kaum yang unik dan memiliki budaya-budaya yang menarik dan mempunyai nilai estetika yang tinggi. Kaum Rungus kaya ilmu dalam membina dan menghasilkan corak dan reka bentuk yang menarik. Misalnya, setiap simbol yang dihasilkan oleh kaum Rungus telah membawa maksud tersirat dan mempunyai makna tertentu. 7 Lakaran Realistic Saya memilih sompoton sebagai subjek matter saya kerana saya amat tertarik dengan motif corak dan reka bentuk alat muzik ini. Sompoton berasal dari sabah. Ia diperbuat daripada labu air yang dikeringkan dan jugan beberapa batang buluh kecik yang disusun dalam dua lapisan. Alat muzik ini dimainkan oleh masyarakat Kadazan Dusun dan murut. Alat muzik ini merupakan alat organ mouth yang dikategorikan sebagai alat muzik erofon. Alat daerah Tambunan di Sabah. Sompoton juga dimainkan untuk mengiringi tarian magarang dan semasa majlis perkhawinan dan sebagainya. 8 Lakaran Realistic Tinugarang adalah motif bersumberkan binatang yang berbentuk cicak. Binatang ini dipercayai tinggal dicelah-celah batu sungai dan mempunyai bisa. Gigitan binatang ini boleh membawa maut. Oleh itu, simbolik tinugarang ini jug membawa maksud keberanian dan kepahlawanan lelaki. Hal ini kerana pada zaman dahulu kaun Rungus akan menangkap binatang ini dan mendapat racunnya untuk tujuan memburu mahupun sebagai senjata berperang. Motif ini berbentuk seekor cicak dan dilengkapi dengan empat kaki dan ekor yang panjang. Oleh itu, pahlawan lelaki yang ingin menangkapnya hendaklah memiliki nilai keberanian. 9 Lakaran Perkembangan Idea Dalam olahan idea saya telah mengaplikasikan kedua-dua idea simbolik kaun Rungus serta unsur sompoton dan telah menghasilkan empat olahan idea. Saya mengaplikasikan kedua-kedua unsur adalah disebabkan pada zaman dahulu sebagai seorang pahlawan hendaklah mencapai keseimbangan dalam kebudayaan dan kepahlawanan. Hal ini adalah disebabkan kaun Rungus pada zaman dahulu amat mementingkan prestasi nilai murni dan kebudayaan masyarakat terutamanya sebagai seorang pahlawan. Pencapaian kebudayaan yang mantap seperti bidang muzik akan mewujudkan sebuah masyarakat yang harmoni kerana adanya hiburan untuk menenangkan hati sesama sendiri. 10 Lakaran Perkembangan Idea 1 11 Lakaran Perkembangan Idea 2 12 Lakaran Perkembangan Idea 3 13 Lakaran Perkembangan Idea 4 14 Lakaran Komposisi Dalam kajian komposisi, saya telah menghasilkan 4 komposisi yang berbeza. Saya telah membuat penyusunan semula corak-corak yang telah dihasilkan bagi mengembangkan kemungkinannya serta menghasilkan komposisi yang paling bersesuaian. 15 Lakaran Komposisi 1 16 Lakaran Komposisi 2 17 Lakaran Komposisi 3 18 Lakaran Komposisi 4 (pilihan) Saya memilih komposisi ini adalah disebabkan ia telah menunjukkan keseimbangan dalam memaparkan keunikan serta nilai estetika sendiri dan tidak berlebihan antara satu sama lain. Hal ini selari dengan kesimbangan prestasi yang ditekankan dalam kalangan kaum Rungus pada zaman dahulu. Reka bentuk segi empat juga membawa makna ketegasan dan disiplin serta menunjukkan kesimbangan dalam setiap unsur yang dihasilkan. Lain pada itu, bilangan corak tinugarang yang sama menunjukkan nilai jati diri yang kuat dan ia hendaklah wujud dalam setiap pahlawan. 19 Kajian Warna dan Teknik Dalam kajian warna, saya telah menghasilkan tiga karya yang diaplikasikan dengan warna-warna yang berbeza dan membawa maksud sendiri. Antara warna yang saya aplikasikan adalah ton warna sejuk, ton warna panas serta warna budaya Dusun. 20 Kajian Warna dan Teknik 1 Ton warna panas 21 Kajian Warna dan Teknik 2 Ton warna sejuk 22 Karya Akhir Saya mengaplikasikan dan memilih kajian warna ini adalah ia dapat mengesprestasikan budaya Kadazan Dusun yang menarik dan cantik. Warna-warna yang saya aplikasikan cukup menunjukkan kesimbangan dalam mengesprestasikan unsur-unsur kaum Kadazan Dusun serta kaun Rungus yang kaya dengan pelbagai kebudayaan yang menarik dan unik. Warna biru dan ungu mampu menangkan hati, warna coklat jingga yang diaplikasikan pada corak sompoton merupakan warna realistik dan ia telah menunjukkan kesetiaan sesebuah kaum dan bangsa dan jati diri yang kuar agar masyarakat tidak melupakan bangsa. Seterusnya warna hijau emmbawa makna alam sekitar manakalah warna kuning dan merah membawa maksud keseimbangan budaya dan menghasilkan harmoni daripadanya. 23 Day, M. & Al Hurwitz, (2001). With Vice President Kamala Harris having replaced President Biden on the Democratic ticket, her stances on key issues will be scrutinized by both parties and the nation’s voters.

She has a long record in politics: as district attorney of San Francisco, as attorney general of California, as a senator, as a presidential candidate and as vice president.

Here is an overview of where she stands.

Ms. Harris supports legislation that would protect the right to abortion nationally, as Roe v. Wade did before it was overturned in 2022, in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

After the Dobbs ruling, she became central to the Biden campaign’s efforts to keep the spotlight on abortion, given that Mr. Biden — with his personal discomfort with abortion and his support for restrictions earlier in his career — was a flawed messenger. In March, she made what was believed to be the first official visit to an abortion clinic by a president or vice president.

She consistently supported abortion rights during her time in the Senate, including cosponsoring legislation that would have banned common state-level restrictions, like requiring doctors to perform specific tests or have hospital admitting privileges in order to provide abortions.

As a presidential candidate in 2019, she argued that states with a history of restricting abortion rights in violation of Roe should be subject to what is known as pre-clearance for new abortion laws — those laws would have to be federally approved before they could take effect. That proposal is not viable now that the Supreme Court has overturned Roe.
