IGNOU Project 2024: Submission Last Date, Status, Result 2024

IGNOU Project Submission for June 2024 – IGNOU Project submission for term end examination of June 2024 is now officially started for those students who have practical components in their syllabus. It is now official that the last date for submission of IGNOU Projects will be 31st May 2024 for TEE June 2024  for online as well as offline modes.

IGNOU is one of the most prestigious distance learning universities in India that has been offering a diverse number of programs and courses. Along with the operations of many other Universities, the operation of IGNOU has been also impacted by the current situation in the country. Hence, it has made a number of changes in its curriculum in order to provide the students with comfortable options for completing their assignments and projects and submitting them accordingly safely.

IGNOU Project Guidelines

IGNOU frequently releases a list of guidelines for both assignments and projects so that the students can submit them properly and on time. The university has introduced an online mode for project submission to make submissions convenient for the candidates.

The notice also mentioned a few of the points that the students need to abide by for their IGNOU project submission.

• The project has to be prepared as per the same project guidelines that were mentioned in the booklet that was sent to the students earlier with the SLM.
• While submitting the project online, the learners have to make sure that they have signed the original Proposal Proforma, Biodata, and synopsis or the project. Similarly, the Project Guide has to sign on the original certificate and others and then have to scan copies for online submission.
• The learners should get digital approval of the Project Guide on the Proforma and the synopsis by email to the Regional Center which can be obtained from the official website of the concerned RC.
• There will be separate guidelines provided regarding projects that require fieldwork. The students can also contact the Programme Coordinator for the purpose.
• The original documents of the project have to be scanned and converted into PDF format for submission. Also, the guidelines for the Cover Page of the project have to be strictly followed.
• The students will be provided with further guidelines about the viva-voce for the projects by the designated faculties of the Regional centers.

When to Submit the IGNOU Project?

The last date for the submission of assignments and project reports for IGNOU TEE June 2024 is 31st May 2024 . However, the university may extend the date further if the students are not able to submit the assignments, projects, and other important materials due to the network problem that occurred in the server.

As per the latest notification, the university has also mentioned that the students will be able to submit the project reports until 31st May without any late fees.

Also, it mentioned that the students have to submit the project reports online in place of offline submission.

Where to Submit the IGNOU Project?

As mentioned above, IGNOU has mentioned that the project reports have to be submitted online now by the students. If you are confused about where to submit the IGNOU project, here is the answer to all your questions.

Students are advised to get the approval of the Project Guide on the Project Synopsis through digital means by reaching out to the Regional Center by email. You can search for the email address of your Regional Center by visiting the page regional centre website.

The project reports can be submitted easily by the candidates on the official website of IGNOU at www.ignou.ac.in .

How to Submit the IGNOU Project?

Candidates who have been submitting project reports and assignments offline to date may find it a bit uncomfortable thinking about it. However, the steps for project submission online have been made much easier and more convenient by the IGNOU portal. Students can submit the IGNOU project quite conveniently by following these simple steps.

Step – 1 – First, the student has to go to the official website of IGNOU at http://www.ignou.ac.in .

Step – 2 – Here, on the homepage itself, you will be able to find the Online Link for Submission of Project Reports in the ALERTS section.

Step – 3 – As you click on this link, you will be redirected to a page of Guidelines that you need to go through to understand the instructions for project submission.

Step – 4 – At the bottom of the Guidelines page, you need to click on Yes for the question asked Do You Want to Continue?

Step – 5 – As you click on yes, a menu will open up from where you need to click on Upload Project.

Step – 6 – Now another page will open up of Student Support Services.

Step – 7 – Here, you need to fill in the details such as enrollment number, program, and others.

Step – 8 – Now, click on the Submit option after entering the Security Code carefully.

Step – 9 – Now, on the next page, follow the instructions and submit the project carefully.

IGNOU Project Front or Cover Page

The IGNOU Project cover page is an important element that you need to take care of while you are submitting the project report online. The guidelines for the cover page are already mentioned in detail in the Booklet provided to you along with the SLM. Also, the same guidelines of the cover page are mentioned in the guidelines page that you come up with when you are submitting the project.

There are some of the important details that you need to highlight on the project report cover page when you are submitting it online. These details are the project report title, name and enrolment number of the candidate, program code and regional center code, course code for which the project has been submitted, mobile number, and the email address of the student.

IGNOU Project Status and Result 2024

The IGNOU Project Status link should be linked at least 20 to 25 days after the last date for the project report submission. As soon as the status link is released, the students will be able to check through their project report status by visiting the official website of IGNOU.

Follow these steps to check your project report status.

Step – 1 – On the official website of IGNOU at http://www.ignou.ac.in , you will find the Project Status link when it is being released by the University.

Step – 2 – As you click on the link, a page will come up where you need to log in with your University credentials.

Step – 3 – As you click on the Submit option after providing the details, the Project Status will be displayed on the screen.

Step – 4 – You can download this status and can take a print out of it.

IGNOU Students can also check or inquire about their project status by emailing at [email protected] for the current status of their submitted project.

The final result of the project report along with the assignments will be also released soon by IGNOU on its official website from where the students can check them too.

Can I submit my internship report and synopsis after 15 Dec.in offline mode

1. I have cleared all my courses in Management Program MP (grade card attached) except Project MS 100. My Project Proposal has already been accepted & approved bearing proposal number – 117298.

2. Against this proposal, I have already submitted my Final Project Report, which has been received at IGNOU SO dated on 10/06/2022, time: 14:22:55 as per status provided by India Post. No information has been provided regarding the completion of evaluation of the Final Project of MS 100 by IGNOU.

3. My grade against MS 100 (Project) has not been updated till date as per IGNOU Grade Card downloaded dated on 19.12.2022 attached herewith.

4. As per the latest reply received from iGRAM IGNOU; ie REPLY- “Dear Learner, MS-100 project report of June-2022 TEE is under evaluation process and marks/result will be updated in grade card status shortly. With best wishes, Project Section, SED”; but still the grade of MS 100 has not been updated till date.

5. I have already emailed in the past to [email protected] , [email protected] dated on 12th September, 8th & 20th October, 1st, 9th, 12th, 16th, 23rd & 30th November & on 13th December for the query pertaining to updation of MS 100 grades.

IGNOU University announced the Assignment submission process for the June Term-end examination along with the submission deadline. Students can visit the official portal @webservices.ignou.ac.in/assignments . to download the unsolved assignment and submit their solved assignment in online mode. IGNOU assignment June 2024 last date is 31 March 2024 . Assignments play a major role in the same way as a theory exam for a certain course subject. Without submission of the assignment, students could not appear in the term-end examination.

Students who want to pass their upcoming TEE exam and want to clear their degree are required to submit the solved IGNOU assignment 2024. S tudents who will not submit assignments. they can’t appear for the Term End Examination . The assignments are the compulsory curriculum structure that carries 30% marks weightage, and passing the assignments is necessary.

The questions that are asked in the assignment are required to be solved, and the marks that are received through assignments and added to the academic scores accordingly, the marks are evaluated for all the programs offered at IGNOU.

Things to Know Before Submitting IGNOU Assignment 2024

• IGNOU assignment has 30% weightage in your grade card, while the theory has the rest 70%; therefore, candidates cannot move to the next stage without submitting their assignments at a given time.

IGNOU has closed accepting assignments for the December TEE 2023, and students can submit assignments on the IGNOU official portal before the deadline once they have downloaded the assignment question. Students who are pursuing a bachelor of Arts Programme under any specialization can download the unsolved BAG assignment from the portal of IGNOU or they can submit it by visiting a study centre. IGNOU MCom Assignment

Indira Gandhi National Open University has announced the MCom Assignments submission deadline for the June Term-end. Students can download the assignment question paper and first page from the official website. IGNOU assignment submission’s last date is 31 March 2024 for the IGNOU MCom programme . MCom assignments hold 30% marks in the yearly examination results, and students have again the opportunity to gain marks in this year’s 2024 academic session.

Indira Gandhi National Open University requires students to submit assignments as part of their MCom program. For the Term End Examination, Students must get passing marks through assignments. Also, students have to finish the MCom assignment and send it to the regional centre at the time of IGNOU assignment submission. The assignments must be submitted before the deadline, and there are no additional charges. IGNOU MCom Assignments submission portal is available at www.ignou.ac.in .

How to Download IGNOU Assignment 2024

• Open the official website of IGNOU i.e., http://ignou.ac.in/.
• Click on the student support dropdown option and select the Student Zone option.
• Now, search for the ‘Assignment’ option and click on it.
• The list of assignments will appear program-wise.
• Click on your opted program with an academic session.
• Finally, the assignment pdf will come out, and you will be able to download the assignment by clicking on the download icon at the right corner of the screen.

How to Submit IGNOU Assignment 2024-25

There has been a complete shift to online learning at IGNOU. Therefore, June 2024 Assignments will also be submitted online. IGNOU last date of assignment submission 2024 is 31 March 2024 . Course assignments can be submitted through Google Forms or by email using the regional centre’s email address.

• Read the instructions carefully and note the assignment submission’s last date, which is mentioned in the prospectus.
• Begin the assignment by mentioning the details such as Name, Enrollment Number, Address, and Study Centres.
• Submit the assignment at the respective study centres.
• Collect the slip signed by the HOD, which has the details such as the Name of the course, enrollment number, and submission date.
• Keep the scanned photocopy of the submitted assignment for future reference.

• Next, click on the “Student Zone.”

Check IGNOU Assignment Marks 2024

IGNOU considers assignments to be vital for all offered programmes. So, if students want to complete your course successfully, they need to hand in your submit their IGNOU assignments before the last date of 31 March 2024 . After you submit assignments, it usually takes one to two months for your marks to get updated. The weightage of IGNOU assignments is 30% of your total marks for the semester or year.

One subject assignment holds 100 marks on average, which may vary depending on the course. Students must regularly visit the website to ensure the IGNOU Assignment Marks are updated. (If the marks aren’t updated, it will show Not completed).

IGNOU Assignment Guidelines 2024

The University has permitted students to submit their handwritten assignments electronically or offline via email/Google Link/By hand at their respective Study Centres latest IGNOU assignment submission last date 2024 will be 31 March 2024 . When sending assignments, students must remember to the following points:

• There should be a handwritten copy of the assignments, and they should be scanned properly.
• Each assignment should begin with the learner’s name, enrollment number, study centre code, course
• code, mobile number, and e-mail address.
• Before scanning and uploading the assignment, each page must be signed by the students.
• Each assignment should be scanned separately using a mobile device or cam scanner. There should be a lot of clarity in the scan copy.
• The assignment responses for each course should be scanned as a single PDF file, which means that if there are five questions in one assignment, there should be one single PDF file containing all five answers.
• Emails can be used to send scan assignments for each course separately. The assignments from all the courses cannot be attached to one email.
• In the case of submitting your MEG1 assignment, the file name should include your enrolment number followed by your course number, for example, 2564879528 MEG1.
• Please ignore if you have already submitted your assignment at your study center.

What To Do If IGNOU Assignment Status Not Updated

The institution displays the assignment status within 20-25 days after the last date of submission. After the result announcement of the TEE exams, the institute displays the assignments’ marks. Therefore, the students should keep in touch with the institute if it delays the marking. 

Students should also have to get the printouts of their assignments approved by the university before they can submit them. As a result of all of these options, students will be able to show their teachers in case of any problem as the ‘Not found’ status of assignments will help them.

• The Updation of IGNOU Assignment status usually takes time. Candidates can find the standing 20 to 25 days after submitting their assignments.
• The assignment marks are often updated a couple of days before the TEE results are announced.

What To Do If IGNOU Assignment Status Not Found

Candidates who see an error in their results even though they submitted their assignments a long time ago will need to contact their Study/Regional Center. The candidates who have recently uploaded or submitted their assignments for the December TEE session will have to wait slightly longer because IGNOU will update their status along with the TEE Examinations of June 2024.

Is it Compulsory to Submit an IGNOU Assignment?

Assignments at IGNOU play a pivotal role in determining various things, such as whether students are eligible to sit in the term-end examination, whether they are good enough in the practical knowledge of the course, and so on.  Without submission of the assignments, there is no window that the university suggests for success as far as completing a term or even a degree is concerned.

If you have a low score like 40 percent in the term-end examination but eventually get 95-97% in the assignments, you may experience a miraculous hike in the percentage. IGNOU Assignment last date is always extended from 31 march to 30 April because of extension in admission date for January session. Assignment submission for June 2024 session has started from 1 March 2024. Both ODL and OL Programme mode student has to submit assignment for each course code. IGNOU Exam form submission has also started and student can Apply for exam.

IGNOU assignment last date is a time frame given to the students. They need to download question paper and submit assignment answers at Study centre (for ODL mode students ) or at LMS (for OL mode students ). Assignment to be submitted at study centre in Offline mode (in person / Speed Post) or as per your Regional Centre guidelines.

The last date is mentioned on the assignment question paper itself. As per assignment question paper for few programme last date is 31 March 2024 while it is 30 April 2024 for few programme.  The Bottom line is 30 April 2024 is the last date for all IGNOU Programme because last date is never programme specific.

How to submit IGNOU Assignment ?

IGNOU assignment plays very important role in fetching good percentage of marks, so you should give attention to the assignment portion along with your theory exam. Assignment should be hand written. What is Assignment Submission Deadline in IGNOU ?

IGNOU assignment last date is also called the deadline to submit assignment at Study center. Online mode (OL) learner need to submit assignment at LMS (Learning Management System). As per University Calendar Assignment submission is done twice every year for June and December session .

As per instruction, IGNOU assignment submission last date varies from programme to programme. The due date is mentioned in the instruction page of assignment question paper.

• For TEE June Cycle / Session   : In this cycle Assignment submission starts from 1st March and ends on 31 March but in some case (like when admission for January Cycle is delayed ) the University  extends the last date for assignment submission like for TEE June 2022 session it was extended upto 20th July 2022 and
• For TEE Dec Cycle/ Session : In this cycle Assignment submission start from 1st September and ends on 30th September but in some case (like when admission for July Cycle is delayed) the University extends the last date for assignment submission.

Explained with Example

1. For Student of Year based UG, PG, PG Diploma or Diploma programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Year based (Eg : MEG, MPS, MCOM, MPA etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Year assignment between 1 - 30th Sep 2021 and this session is considered as TEE DEC 2022 SESSION . For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE DEC 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

2. For Student of Semester based UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Semester based (Eg: BCA, MCA, MP, PGCCL etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Semester assignment between 1 - 30th March 2021 and this session is considered as TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION .For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

Note : Assignment Question paper can be downloaded from University Website. Before writing assignment answers check the validity of Assignment question paper which is written on the Assignment Question paper itself. Student who could submit assignment then they need to download fresh Assignment Question paper from website.

The IGNOU Student Evaluation Division (SED) monitors and updates Term-end examinations result, assignments submisisons and extension of dates, projects, practical examinations, dissertations, viva-voce, field work, etc. and award of  degrees/ Diplomas/ certificates.

First year July 2023 admission session students of MEG, MCOM, , MHD, MPS, MAH, MSO, MAPC, MEC, MPA, MAAN, MGPS, MARD, MSCDFSM, MSCCFT, MSW, MSWC, MAEDU, MADE, MAAE, MAPY, MADVS,  MAGD, MATS, MAJMC etc can submit assignment for June 2024 session. The last date of IGNOU assignment is 30 April 2024.

Generally Once the assignment submission date is over, Study Center takes necessary  steps to get the assignment evaluated and is sent to the approved evaluator / Academic Counsellor of IGNOU for evaluation. I GNOU MCA Admission 2024: The last date was 20 March 2024 for IGNOU MCA admission for the January academic session. To complete the application process, students must visit the university’s official portal @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in . Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (BCA/BSc) in a relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university. The registration fee is INR 300, and the complete fee for  IGNOU MCA is INR 73,800.

MCA is a two-year postgraduate program at IGNOU. This program is designed for those students who want to pursue a career in the software industry. MCA course covers algorithms, software engineering, mobile computing, and more over four semesters. Distance learners from different regions or states can also take the IGNOU MCom course.

• IGNOU admission last date extended for all Online/ODL courses (except Certificate, Semester and merit-based programmes) the January 2024 session, Students can apply by the extended last date 31 March 2024 at @ignou.ac.in.
• IGNOU has extended the re-registration last date for the January session. The extended last date is 31 March 2024 with a late fee of INR 500 for IGNOU Re-registration in January session.
• IGNOU has released the Exam Form for June 2024. The last date is 22 April 2024 for IGNOU Exam Form June 2024 without a late fee.

Fresh admission to the computer science or IT-oriented program of MCA can be taken after passing a bachelor’s degree in BCA/BSC with similar subjects. The minimum percentage required for IGNOU MCA admission in UG degree is 50 percent. Admission to the IGNOU-oriented MCA program is given on a non-entrance basis.

IGNOU MCA Study Material:

The IGNOU MCA program lasts two years, divided into four semesters. This program, however, can only be completed in a maximum of four years. This academic program is distinct from the other distance education programs IGNOU University offers. The university offers its MCA program, meaning all the learning will take place online.

IGNOU MCA Term End Examination

IGNOU will start the exam form submission for the MCA program to appear in the June Term-end examination. IGNOU MCA Exam Form’s last date will be 31 March 2024 to appear in the June TEE. Students can submit their exam forms by visiting the university’s official portal @exam.ignou.ac.in They must submit the exam form to appear in the MCA June TEE. IGNOU MCA exam form fee is INR 200 per course/subject. IGNOU has released the Date Sheet for the MCA course for the June Term-end examination 2024; the MCA examination will start on 01 June 2024 and end on 06 July 2024 as per the tentative date sheet schedule.

IGNOU MCA Assignments

Indira Gandhi National Open University will start taking MCA students’ assignments for the June TEE assignments. 31 March 2024 is the last date to submit the IGNOU MCA assignments , students have to submit their assignments to appear in the June Term-end examination. Those students who want to appear in the June TEE have to submit their assignments before the last date, and all applicable topics are covered as per the IGNOU University guidelines.

To appear in the MCA term-end examination, students need to earn at least 30 percent marks or a grade on all of their assignments. IGNOU opens the assignment submission portal before the June Term-end examination and December Term-end examination every year.  

IGNOU MCA Course Structure

The syllabus for IGNOU’s MCA course is divided into four semesters. During the first semester, there are seven subjects, and during the remaining five semesters, there are six subjects. The MCA Course Structure includes Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Discrete Mathematics, Software Engineering, Professional Skills and Ethics, Security and Cyber Laws, DAA and Web Design Lab, and Software Engineering Lab.
