Key Details:

• Competitive Salary: $95,000 to $145,000 with structured skill-based raises.
• Training Program: Systematic skill building
• Diverse Responsibilities: Includes working with various imaging modalities, collecting data, drafting reports, working with and caring for testing equipment, commuting between client facilities, communication with team members and clients as needed.

• Qualifications: Diagnostic imaging equipment experience and interest
• Education Requirements: Master’s degree from CAMPEP accredited medical physics program.
• Desired Experience: Experience and knowledge in the range of medical physics topics. Exposure to equipment testing procedures. Significant equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Medical Physics Assistant’s duties will include:

• Equipment Data Collection: Under the supervision of the medical physics team, you will perform thorough data collection of imaging equipment and ensure accuracy of data entry and draft reports.
• Record Maintenance: You're responsible for keeping detailed records of measurements, and reports.
• Quality Assurance Testing: Under the guidance of a staff medical physicist, you will conduct quality assurance tests, verifying data integrity per training.
• Radiation Safety: You will be expected to understand the basic principles of radiation safety and exercise care when working in the radiation environment.
