We had an energy audit and insulation work done by Homeworks Energy back in June and they were great. I really appreciate all the hard work that was done by Ryan Steel, Jacob Eaton, and Treyvon. They were super courteous, diligent, and kept everything super clean. Thanks, guys!!
We hired them to do annual maintenance on our combi-boiler. The boiler was working fine before the service, but since, it has been constantly throwing an error and shutting off. They came back multiple times to try to resolve the problem. During one service they created a gas leak, which then exploded the ignition. The system continues to throw errors and shut off. After multiple attempts, they finally agreed to refund what we had paid up front for a service contract and for the parts to repair the exploded ignition. This review is a fair and honest representation of our experience with this company, and is protected by the Consumer Review Fairness Act.
HVAC control panel error code
They insulated the 2nd floor and attic for the owner upstairs of a two unit condominium. I own the first floor. This company showed up on a Wednesday, didn't clean up afterwards, then came Thursday, didn't clean up afterwards. Then came Friday, left at 8 PM didn't clean up afterwards. There is insulation all over front and back porches, front and side yard. They left two gutters unhinged as well. They don't work on the weekends. I called to complain and to see if they can come back and clean up their mess and reconnect gutters. Nope. Maybe Monday then? Update: they came back the following Monday and cleaned up what I didn't do myself (front and side yard) however, they did not reattach the back gutter right so a handyman is coming today to fix it... I don't recommend this company.

I had HomeWorks quote a heat pump. They came and surveyed and quoted nearly $22,000. The quote was sent in a contract by email. I responded to the email that the quote was extremely high and that I was not interested. Every day for over a month now they send me the same contract asking for my signature. I've asked Russ the estimator twice to stop sending the contract. No response. I've also reached out to the office and I am still receiving contracts by email every day. Maybe I need to forward to the Attorney General's office?

HomeWorks is exceptional. We had Ian come by and assess our house and he was easy to work with and very communicative. With a quick turnaround he was able schedule an appointment and everything was seamless. He also provided us with MassSave information so that we could do the work we would not normally be able to afford so quickly. We had insulation installed in our basement yesterday and it was a fantastic experience. A crew of 3 highly skilled professionals, very thorough and friendly. It's been less than 24 hours and I can already feel the difference of temperature in my house. And a bonus- I think they left my basement cleaner than it was! Superb professionals that I highly recommend! Certainly using them on all future projects.
Work was done professionally and timely but trying to reach customer service isn't easy
I recently had an energy audit , air sealing, and insulation work done by Homeworks Energy. The process was easy and the work was done to my satisfaction. I believe that a true measure of a company is how they handle things when things don't go as planned. In my case Homeworks handled my problem quickly and went above and beyond. They work with MASS SAVE and know their business inside and out. From the auditor, installation techs, customer service and more, they all were excellent. If you choose Homeworks Energy you won't be disappointed. A totally satisfied customer.
I recently had insulation installed by folks from HomeWorks. The installers were very skilled and very considerate. We love HomeWorks. They have always been very efficient and reasonable.
This is a sham. They make estimates so they can be reimbursed Ny mass save and then don't do the suggested work Theymake a mess, have hidden charges , don't come prepared with proper equipment and make promises they don't keep. Certainly not worth the back and for thing -- had to send out multiple appraisers and take forever to get back to you. Do NOT use this group. Terrible.

I want to take a minute to give Victor Moreno, Weily Tavarez, and Roberto Gomez the recognition they deserve. This crew did an amazing job insulating my house. A special shout out to Victor, who went above and beyond to make sure the job was finished that day and everything was cleaned up, leaving no mess behind. Victor did a great job communicating with me and answered all my questions. He didn't seem taken back at all and didn't make me feel like I was a bother. Well done gentleman, well done!
