Students must submit their reports in online mode, by clicking on the link below, by the deadline. The IGNOU has released the guidelines that students must comply while preparing and submitting their assignments. Here are the updated guidelines:

All the assignment should be hand written.

Students must use A4 ruled paper (unless it is instructed on your TMA).

Leave 4 cm margin on left and right side of each page.

Do not use staplers, to bind the pages; you use need threads (what is typically found with cover files).

Avoid using any ink colour other than blue and black.

First you need to attach the cover page (You will find it at your study centre).

Then, attach a photocopy of your IGNOU ID card.

After that, attach a copy of your TMA (question paper on your assignment document).

Lastly, attach your hand written answers.

Leave one blank page in the end.

Do not use any files while submitting your assignments. Your assignment should only consist of the pages, tied with a thread.

You must take a submission receipt, which will be stamped by the study centre with submission dates. In case, your study centre is unable to provide you one, take a photocopy of the cover page of your assignment and get that stamped.

Note: For submission of practicals, you need to use a cover file.

Students enrolled for the IGNOU January session in the semester-type program will appear for exams in June 2024 and IGNOU has set Mar 31, 2024, as the deadline to submit the assignment. Students can check the list of important points to get an overview of IGNOU assignment status 2024.

Indira Gandhi National Open University will start the assignment submission for all UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma, and Certificate level programs for the June Term-end examination 2024.
Adhering to this deadline is mandatory to be eligible for June and December 2024 term-end exams.
IGNOU assignments are assessment tools that evaluate conceptual understanding and aid in exam preparation through revision. Each assignment carries a specified weightage contributing to the final grade.

IGNOU Distance MBA Course Structure

The IGNOU Distance MBA course is divided into 21 subjects that a student will study during the course. Each student needs to clear the exam of these 21 subjects to successfully get the degree of Distance MBA.

These 21 subjects are divided as follow:

The IGNOU OPENMAT for January Cycle was conducted on 11 April 2024.
Any Graduate (Including Chartered Accountancy/ Cost Accountancy/ Company Secretary) with 50% for General Category/ 45% for Reserved Category can apply for the course.
Except for a few programs, there is no entrance test for admission.
There is no age limit to apply for the course of Distance MBA at IGNOU.
Clearance of OPENMAT entrance test of IGNOU is a must for MBA admissions.
After clearing OPENMAT, the student has to fill the Application Form to apply for his candidature.

IGNOU Assignment Weightage

Each IGNOU programme gives assignments a 30% weighting, so candidates can't disregard them. They must compose the best assignment solution in order to receive higher grades in the end, as well as to improve their performance report on their grade card. IGNOU Assignment Submission Last Date for TEE June 2024

The deadline for submitting IGNOU Assignments for the Term End Exam June 2024 is May 31, 2024. The due date is only subject to change if the IGNOU Head of Office issues a social notice; otherwise, it remains constant. Because the due date varies by programme, candidates are recommended to confirm the due date with their IGNOU course after obtaining the assignment question from this page.

What Is the Procedure for Submitting An IGNOU Assignment Online?

Only if they receive an SMS from their regional or study centre can candidates transmit their assignments through email. If a student has submitted a first-year or first-semester assignment to IGNOU SCs during the January-July 2024 session, they can submit a second-year or second-semester assignment during the January-July 2024 session.

Admissions of IGNOU have started from 3rd February 2024 and the last date of admissions is 15th April 2024. Assignment submission for June 2024 session has started from 1 March 2024. Both ODL and OL Programme mode student has to submit assignment for each course code. IGNOU Exam form submission has also started and student can Apply for exam.

IGNOU assignment last date is a time frame given to the students. What is Assignment Submission Deadline in IGNOU ?

IGNOU assignment last date is also called the deadline to submit assignment at Study center. Online mode (OL) learner need to submit assignment at LMS (Learning Management System). As per University Calendar Assignment submission is done twice every year for June and December session .

As per instruction, IGNOU assignment submission last date varies from programme to programme. The due date is mentioned in the instruction page of assignment question paper.

For TEE June Cycle / Session : In this cycle Assignment submission starts from 1st March and ends on 31 March but in some case (like when admission for January Cycle is delayed ) the University extends the last date for assignment submission like for TEE June 2022 session it was extended upto 20th July 2022 and
For TEE Dec Cycle/ Session : In this cycle Assignment submission start from 1st September and ends on 30th September but in some case (like when admission for July Cycle is delayed) the University extends the last date for assignment submission.

1. For Student of Year based UG, PG, PG Diploma or Diploma programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Year based (Eg : MEG, MPS, MCOM, MPA etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Year assignment between 1 - 30th Sep 2021 and this session is considered as TEE DEC 2022 SESSION . For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE DEC 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

2. For Student of Semester based UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Semester based (Eg: BCA, MCA, MP, PGCCL etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Semester assignment between 1 - 30th March 2021 and this session is considered as TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION .For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

Assignments should be written by hand and students scanned properly.
On the first page of each assignment, the student’s name , enrollment number , study centre code , course code , mobile phone number , and e-mail address should be stated.
Before scanning and uploading the assignment, each page must be signed by the students either at the top or bottom.
Scan your assignments one by one using Mobile or Cam Scan. It is important that the scanned copy is very clear.
The assignment response for each course should be scanned into a single PDF file, which means there should not be 5 PDF files containing the five answers to one assignment, but one single PDF with all five responses.
You can send the scanned assignments separately by email for each course. I would like to mention that all the assignments for all courses cannot be attached in a single email.
Generally, the file name should begin with the student’s enrolment number, followed by the course number. For example, if your enrolment number is 8574747887, and you plan to submit the MEG1 assignment, the file name should be 8574747887 MEG1 .
