Having an aim in life gives a meaning, and provides a purpose to your life.

Aim makes a person mature, responsible, and humble towards their life, and others.

Sometimes, we go through a phase in life, at which time we want something to go on.

Aim is the thing that inspires and motivates a person to grow more, and make their life meaningful.

Aim is hope for a bright and better future, an individual holds on to their aim and works hard to make it come true one day.

It teaches us that if we want a better tomorrow for ourselves, we must work today.

When someone achieves his aim, he or she feels honoured, and gives a sense of pride.

It improves our self-esteem, and encourages us to work better and more for our future.

Sometimes, the aim does not belong to just one person. Many people who support us also have hope for our aim.

My Aim in life is to become an army officer, and my parents support me every day to make my aim come true.

Typically, as we grow older and into adulthood, we begin to set goals for our lives. In different classes and stages of life, we have varied goals. Our aspirations, dreams, and occasionally even needs are included in our goals. But we are unable to make our needs our goal. We need to be able to tell them apart.

An objective is something for which we work hard for diligently day and night and which provides us a reason to live a purposeful life.

My goal has always been extremely clear and straightforward. I've never wanted to be a scientist, doctor, or engineer. I want to dance because I enjoy it so much. When I was younger, watching reality television always inspired me to dance. I enjoyed imitating the show's dance moves and I frequently became upset when I was unable to do it. When that happened, my mother and father would approach me and tell me that just because you aren't doing something right now doesn't mean you won't be able to do it tomorrow. The most crucial step is to try. Since then, I've tried my best, regardless of whether I can do it well or not. My goal in life is to thrive, thus I strive to achieve that every day. I assert my goal with the firm belief that I will succeed in achieving it.

Finally, there is always someone who encourages you to pursue your goals, and for me, that person has always been my parents.

Aim has different definitions for every individual, logically it can be referred to as a goal, target, and with many terms. The first step is to set, and figure out our aim. When we set our aim, it motivates us to achieve something in life. An aim cannot be described as big or small. Every aim has its meaning and purpose. We should make many small efforts to achieve a goal.

When a person goes somewhere, he must know the destination where he is going. Because when we know the destination, we know the directions. Similarly, first, we must be clear about our aim, and then start to walk on that road, as of now we have clear directions on which we have to move on.

Importance of Having an Aim

Its importance varies for different people. Some people think of it as a target that they need to achieve at any cost, this type of feeling towards an aim comes with various conditions. An aim gives meaning to life, but we should pursue it peacefully and carefully. During the period of achieving the aim, if you are feeling pressured, and do not have peace of mind, then it is not your aim, it is just an ambition that you want to accomplish.

For some people it is not just an ambition, it is a purpose that gives meaning to their lives, and when you make efforts to achieve this aim, you have peace in your mind, and a true hope that one day you will achieve it, and till then, you have to work for it each day.

My Aim of Life

I always thought that an aim should be something bigger, and that when somebody hears your aim, they must appreciate you. But as I moved on, I have learnt that an aim is not something that you need to be appreciated for, whether it is smaller or bigger. An aim and your opinions, and feelings towards your aim describe you, not your aim.

When I was a kid my aims changed every day, whenever I saw someone at a high post or achieving something bigger. I always wanted to be that person. But gradually, I understood a lot of things, and now I truly want to be an engineer. When I work for it I have peace of mind, and I am passionate about studying, experimenting, and learning about engineering.

There is always someone who supports you, sometimes secretly, and sometimes openly. In my case, it has always been my mother and father. They always supported me to do whatever I like, and whenever I do it.

Aim For The Moon, If You Miss, You May Hit A Star

If you are pursuing your aim with true efforts and hard work, the aim will come true one day. Even if you cannot achieve your aim, you should not get upset. In life, everything comes with a catch. Perhaps in your journey of achieving your goal you may find something that is right for you, and made for you. And finally, if you cannot get the moon, you will get a star. And remember, an aim should not be your life, your life should be your aim.

At this juncture of life, I have understood that a teacher’s life is full of hardships. I respect and admire my teachers as they sacrificed their family life and took time out to solve our issues and problems. I will also have to do similar things and somewhere or the other I am always ready for these challenges. It’s very important for a teacher to understand his student so that it becomes easy to solve his problems. Every student is equal for a teacher and no one can be discriminated.

Teachers are the building blocks; they help in transforming a student into a responsible individual. Before choosing my dream I too went through this process. I would like to share my experience through which I found my aim of life. One day I was going back home from my school and I saw a person with torn cloths begging for food. He went to each and every car begging and also requested them to save the life of his son who was in a very critical condition lying on the pavement. Just then he came to the car of a doctor. The doctor immediately came out of his car and looked to his son‘s condition and also provided him food. I also wanted to do something for him but I found myself very helpless that day. But I was very happy by the doctor’s gesture, and that incident made me realize that I could also save someone’s life if I too become a doctor and that was the day from where I have nurtured the dream of becoming a doctor and serving the poor.

My teachers and parents have always motivated and guided me that what should I be doing to achieve my dream. They also told me that a doctor’s profession requires sleepless nights and I will also have to sacrifice my family time by spending more time taking care of my patients. I completely acknowledge that it will require a lot of hard work, sleepless nights and sacrifices but the happiness and satisfaction I will get by helping poor and needy people will be reward for the my hard work and sacrifices.

At one point in time, I did realize that I never wanted a normal life but the process or the journey to become an entrepreneur was unclear. One day while watching an advertisement I got to know about something referred to as “Startup”. While searching for the term it became clear that even the government of India is funding various startups if the idea behind the business will make better changes to our society. These days as a school student like you I am thinking of a business idea that will help in some or the other way to change our Indian society in a positive way.

You all might be thinking that I want to become a big business man and earn lots of money to buy luxurious lifestyle for myself but I would like to make it clear to you all that I dream of becoming an entrepreneur where the focus will be mainly on building new ideas and values instead of just minting money which is the core objective of every businessman.

Entrepreneur community has a variety of individuals ranging from educators, youth, mothers etc. There is no age for becoming an entrepreneur as it only requires skills, excellent ideas, pure passion and hard work which can be achieved in any phase of life. My life ambition is to become a police officer. The profession of police is brave and interesting. Police officers maintain law and order in our society. They save us from thieves and other criminals. Our society has different types of people, some good and some bad. The bad try to harm the good people physically or by cheating them. Police ensure the bad people are caught and put in prison. They ensure peace and safety in society. When I grow up and become a police officer, I want to catch criminals and make society a safe place for everyone.

Every kid dreams of becoming someone important and successful when they grow up. I too want to be someone important when I grow up. I also want to serve my country and make India the best country to live in. Therefore, I want to become an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. An IAS officer makes sure the country is functioning properly. They are the people who ensure the government projects, plans and schemes are executed properly. They also ensure the government funds are utilised honestly for the welfare of their fellow citizens. So as an IAS officer, I will make my county proud of my work.

Most kids want to become doctors or engineers when they grow up. But, I dream of becoming a lawyer when I grow up. A lawyer is a professional who helps people fight their judicial battles and win them. In our society, there are many kinds of people. Some people take advantage of others and wrongly cheat them of their property, money or rights. To punish such bad people, the people who are harmed file suits in court against them. Lawyers fight their court cases and ensure they get justice. As a lawyer, I will help the police send criminals to jail, and ensure that good people get justice.

Ever since I was a baby, I have been fascinated with nurses. Every time I visited the hospital with my parents for check-ups, the lovely nurses there pampered me a lot. Their smiling faces and caring attitude always impressed me. They are very helpful and caring. More than doctors, the nurses take care of the patients, and they are the ones who give medicines and injections and look after patients day and night. Therefore, it’s my dream to become a nurse when I grow up. As a nurse, I want to treat and care for people in their sicknesses and see them getting better.

WASHINGTON — A new budget by a large and influential group of House Republicans calls for raising the Social Security retirement age for future retirees and restructuring Medicare.

The proposals, which are unlikely to become law this year, reflect how many Republicans will seek to govern if they win the 2024 elections. And they play into a fight President Joe Biden is seeking to have with former President Donald Trump and the Republican Party as he runs for re-election.

The budget was released Wednesday by the Republican Study Committee , a group of more than 170 House GOP lawmakers, including many allies of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. Apart from fiscal policy, the budget endorses a series of bills “designed to advance the cause of life,” including the Life at Conception Act, which would aggressively restrict abortion and potentially threaten in vitro fertilization , or IVF, by establishing legal protections for human beings at “the moment of fertilization.” It has recently caused consternation within the GOP following backlash to an Alabama Supreme Court ruling that threatened IVF.

The RSC, which is chaired by Rep. Kevin Hern, R-Okla., counts among its members Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., and his top three deputies in leadership. Johnson chaired the RSC from 2019 to 2021; his office did not immediately respond when asked about the new budget.

For Social Security, the budget endorses "modest adjustments to the retirement age for future retirees to account for increases in life expectancy." It calls for lowering benefits for the highest-earning beneficiaries. And it emphasizes that those ideas are not designed to take effect immediately: "The RSC Budget does not cut or delay retirement benefits for any senior in or near retirement."

The new budget also calls for converting Medicare to a "premium support model," echoing a proposal that Republican former Speaker Paul Ryan had rallied support for. Under the new RSC plan, traditional Medicare would compete with private plans and beneficiaries would be given subsidies to shop for the policies of their choice. The size of the subsidies could be pegged to the "average premium" or "second lowest price" in a particular market, the budget says.

The plan became a flashpoint in the 2012 election, when Ryan was GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney's running mate, and President Barack Obama charged that it would "end Medicare as we know it." Ryan defended it as a way to put Medicare on better financial footing, and most of his party stood by him.

Medicare is projected to become insolvent in 2028, and Social Security will follow in 2033. After that, benefits will be forcibly cut unless more revenues are added.

Biden has blasted Republican proposals for the retirement programs, promising that he will not cut benefits and instead proposing in his recent White House budget to cover the future shortfall by raising taxes on upper earners.

The RSC budget also presents a conundrum for Trump, who has offered shifting rhetoric on Social Security and Medicare without proposing a clear vision for the future of the programs.

Notably, the RSC budget presents three possible options to address the projected insolvency of the retirement programs: raise taxes, transfer money from the general fund or reduce spending to cover the shortfall.

It rejects the first two options.

"Raising taxes on people will further punish them and burden the broader economy–something that the spend and print regime has proven to be disastrous and regressive," the budget says, adding that the committee also opposes "a multi-trillion-dollar general fund transfer that worsens our fiscal situation."

That leaves spending cuts.

The RSC budget launches blistering criticism at "Obamacare," or the Affordable Care Act, and calls for rolling back its subsidies and regulations that were aimed at extending insurance coverage.
